JULY 13TH WARM WEATHER WHITES
Belgium, which is known for its great tripels and dubbels, makes some of the world's best white ale. We will celebrate the more esoteric breweries and compare all of these great beers.
Blanch De Namur, Jan de Lichte, Gruut Witte, Blanche de Bruxelles, and St Bernardus Witte.
JULY 27TH RESTO LARGE FORMAT FEAST
We are roasting whole pig, a whole lamb, a whole cow (just trying to get your attention)
We will be pouring large format beers. The wine folk's think they have the large format thing cornered with their bottles named after dead kings well the old brewers from Belgium do as well. 3 & 6 & 9 liters of beer.
AUGUST 10TH "12 PERCENT IMPORTS" TASTING
12 Percent Imports Brian Ewing will be on hand to educate us on soe of the most esoteric beers from belgium. The food will be paired with the different breweries. AUGUST 24TH CHAMPAGNE BEERS
Deus, Malheur Brut, Malheur Noir, Scaldis - we're thinking about oysters, smoked fish, and any other classic champagne accompaniments.
NYC CRAFT BEER WEEK
NYC Craft Beer Week is September 11th - 20th Resto will be hosting two dinners in conjunction with the event.
SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 13TH LOCAL NY BEER & FOOD DINNER
We will be cooking with vegetables, meats and beer all form New York State. This dinner will be in conjunction with Zagat & Ommegang Beer and will be limited to 80ppl. There will also be a special price for this dinner.

All Seven Trappist Monasteries, Paired with a Seven Course Dinner - This is to celebrate the monks continued commitment to making the best beers in the world. Achel, Chimay, Koningshoeven, Orval, Rochefort, Westmalle, Westvleteren. All of the beers will be available for tasting but only one beer from each monastery will be paired. This dinner will cost more than normal but you will be drinking Westvleteren.
NOVEMBER 3RD CHARCUTERIE & BEER
Nothing makes us happier at Resto than charcuterie like terrines, sausages, pates, rillettes. We will be making all sorts of old world french charcuterie a plethora of different animals. Not to be outdone by some of Belgium's most interesting breweries.
NOVEMBER 9TH SHELLFISH & HOPS
We love shellfish, lobster, oysters, periwinkles, crabs etc. Celebrate with shellfish paired with some of the most hop driven Belgian beers.
NOVEMBER 16TH STEAK & ALE
At Resto we are privlaged to receive meat from some of the countires best farms. Just imagine the Steak Tartar, Rib eye, aged short rib, brisket, etc & any fun foving steak drinking Belgian Ale.

A bit about our Co-Hosts Maggie and Will
Maggie Fuller, eschewing her career on Wall Street, ventured to California in order to pursue a degree in brewing science at UC Davis. Following graduation, she returned to NYC and founded Beer Ethos, devoted to promoting the appreciation and enjoyment of beer through drinking and discourse. Beer Ethos offers beer tastings, beer and food pairings and general beer education.
Will Stephens has been a home brewer since the tender age of 4 when he started brewing with his father. He is the co-founder of Beermenus.com, which launched in April of 2008. Currently he is studying to be a certified beer judge in homebrew competitions at night while spreading the gospel of finding great beers during the day with BeerMenus.
