Aphelion’s Rest is a Lost Sector located in The Dreaming City destination in Destiny 2. As a high-level activity in the end-game location of The Dreaming City, Aphelion’s Rest can be quite challenging for some players. In this article, we will break down the requirements and difficulty of Aphelion’s Rest to help players understand what is needed to take on this Lost Sector.
Overview of Aphelion’s Rest
Aphelion’s Rest is located in Divalian Mists in The Dreaming City. It is recommended to be at least Power Level 550 to take on this Lost Sector, as enemies can scale up to 560 Power.
The Lost Sector consists of various Taken enemies, including Taken Captains, Knights, Centurions, Goblins, Hobgoblins, and Phalanxes. The boss at the end is a Taken Knight called Dûl Incaru. She has two Wizards that support her in the boss fight.
Defeating all the enemies and the boss will reward players with a chest at the end that contains Dreaming City loot. This Lost Sector can be farmed repeatedly for rewards.
Enemy Types
Here is an overview of the different enemy types found inside Aphelion’s Rest:
Taken Captains
Taken Captains wield Arc shields and Solar projection attacks. They can be challenging to take down. Using the appropriate element type damage against their shield is key.
Taken Knights
The Taken Knights in Aphelion’s Rest use Void attacks and can fire blasts of energy from a distance. They also engage in melee combat. Void damage is effective against them.
Taken Centurions
Taken Centurions are armed with projection rifles. They fire Arc blasts and can shield themselves. Arc damage works best against Centurions.
Taken Goblins
Taken Goblins provide support and can shield enemies. They should be eliminated quickly to prevent them from protecting other units.
Taken Hobgoblins
The sniper unit of the Taken forces. Hobgoblins pick at players from long range. Close the gap and use Solar damage against them.
Taken Phalanxes
The frontline troops with shields that can blast players. Use Kinetic or Arc weapons to take down Phalanxes efficiently.

Having the right weapons and gear can make Aphelion’s Rest more manageable. Here are some recommended loadouts:
– Kinetic Sniper Rifle: For picking off dangerous enemies like Hobgoblins at a distance.
– Arc Shotgun: Helpful for Captains and Centurions with Arc shields.
