Toot’s Broad Street Reviews

We took a large group to Toot’s Broad for supper on a Friday night. The place was crowded, but we only had to wait about 15 minutes for several tables together. We ordered multiple appetizers – our favorites were the fried pickles and the chips and salsa. For supper most of us stuck with baskets – fried catfish was delicious, fried oysters were really good, chicken fingers were good – you can get them dipped in sauce or just breaded. We tried fries, sweet potato fries and kettle chips as sides – all were fairly good.

The servers were good, kept glasses filled and plates cleared. It is a bit loud, but that fit the group that we had with us. The desserts looked amazing. But I was too full to try them.

We’ve never had a bad experience at this location. Our server Kathryn was on top of her game tonight. She was very sweet, and very prompt with our food & drinks. My bacon cheeseburger was delicious as always, and my fiancee tried the shrimp po boy tossed in hot garlic for the first time tonight, he said it will definitely be something he’d order again.

This place was awesome. Wait staff was awesome, quick, and on top of things. Good was awesome. Gotloved the wings, the fried pickles (lightly fried) and the house chips that came with french onion dip! Who does that?! Wish there was a place like this back home in Delaware. We came to see Hank Williams Jr jukebox but stayed for the food. The place opened at 11am and was nearly packed by noon.

Oh, yum. Great location! Excellent wait staff. Food was divine. Must try..the onion rings! Shrimp was cooked perfect. Cole slaw was great!

Had our first Toot’s experience yesterday. I got a classic burger, and my girlfriend got the chicken tenders. Burger was good, chicken tenders were good. Only reason I’m taking off a star is because I asked for an egg on my burger, and they brought me a HARD BOILED EGG on the side. Luckily, I found it hilarious. Just to clarify, I meant a fried egg lol. Pic of what I wanted for reference vs what I got. Other than that it was good lol

Brought the step son here after skyzone and cannot complain at all! Food was great, service was even better and the prices were amazing. The whole experience really topped off his birthday. Our server was super friendly and attentive to our table of 8, no one was left out. They even sang happy birthday. We had a quiet mishap with one of our orders that ended up being immediately taken care of. Our little boy loved our server too and I wish I could remember his name. I will be coming back for sure!

The food was hot, fast and fresh. My first time eating here. Strated with the deep fried avocado. The chicken tenders were so juicy and tender. The sauce was so delicious not to hot, I got the mild buffalo sauce.

Service was good. Fried pickles and onion rings were great. I ordered Chick-On-A-Stick with curly fries. The chicken lacked flavor, the slaw was good and the Cherry Mustard was different.

Great atmosphere, great food variety on menu. We were a huge party (baseball team and families) and every single person enjoyed their food. Very good service considering the size of our party and the fact the place was nearly at capacity. Lunch specials under $10. Most other items range $10-$15. Highly recommend.
